About Me
I am a researcher and assistant professor by profession. I was born in the United States and moved to Pune, India, in 2004. I graduated with a Master's degree in Psychology in 2020, and moved to Japan with a MEXT scholarship in 2020. I graduated with a Ph.D. from the University of Tsukuba in March 2024.
My subjects of specialization are social psychology and intercultural communication. My multidisciplinary research explores the social dynamics of Indian and other migrants in Japan through the lens of Social Psychology.
After earning a doctoral degree, I spent a year working as an adjunct lecturer in Global Education, Organizational Behavior, Academic Writing, and Communication Skills at five universities in the Kanto region. Since April 2025, I have been working at the University of Tsukuba as an Assistant Professor at the Center of Education of Global Communication (CEGLOC).
My career goal is to advance in academia and continue conducting research in Intercultural Communication.
